Social Reform Movements in 19th Century India

Hi everyone. This post lists the various social reform movements that took place in the 19th century India and the persons associated with them. This post can be immensely helpful for UPSC and SSC. In the beginning of the 19th century, Indian society was plagued with caste system, untouchability, suppression of women etc. The educated Indians started various reform movements to get rid of the evils of the society.
