Hi all.

In this post on general awareness, I shall discuss the organization SAARC.


SAARC stands for South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). This organization consists of the following countries : India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka  Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan.
It is a regional organization of countries of South Asia.
 Date and place of establishment : 1985, Dhaka.
 Objectives : 
  I) Diplomatic relations
 II) Regional integration
III) Development of economies
Official language : English

First secretary general : Abul Ahsan, Bangladesh.

The Constitution of India has 448 articles in 25 parts . Apart from the articles, there are twelve schedules and five appendices . At the time of commencement , the constitution had 395 articles and 8 schedules . Article is the smallest unit.
